eBay Advertising Announces New Senior Hires
Dylan Fuller and Craig Newns-Smith join expanding eBay team
eBay Advertising announces the appointment of Dylan Fuller as Head of AdCommerce for UK and Craig Newns-Smith as International Advertising Sales Manager, as the company continues its growth trajectory across the UK and EMEA
Fuller will focus on driving the expansion of eBay Advertising’s new cost-per-click advertising service, AdCommerce, to brands and sellers as it rolls out in beta across EMEA throughout 2010. He joins the company from Microsoft where he held the position of Senior Director, Advertising Solutions and was responsible for running product strategy on a global basis, platform development, marketing and customer delivery.
Speaking of his new role, Dylan Fuller said: “Joining eBay Advertising at an exciting time when the company continues to grow and innovate with new offerings like AdCommerce, was an opportunity I just couldn’t say no to.”
Newns-Smith will be responsible for managing international advertising projects and creating bespoke advertising solutions for customers across eBay’s international network.
Prior to joining eBay Advertising, Newns-Smith held positions with ESPN and nineMSN, where he created online advertising solutions for media agencies and their clients – ranging from display media campaigns to executing tailored media solutions.
Speaking about his new role, Craig Newns-Smith adds: “The ability to present advertising opportunities to brands in an ecommerce environment where they can reach consumers at an advanced stage in the buying cycle, is something unique to eBay and I’m delighted to be part of the business.”
