eBay Advertising Announces Rob Bassett as Head of Integrated Partnerships

eBay Advertising today announces Rob Bassett as Head of Integrated Partnerships, as the company continues on its growth trajectory. Bassett will focus on securing partnerships with advertisers, to deliver campaigns where brand marketing and sales are seamlessly integrated into the eBay buying and selling experience.

Rob joins eBay Advertising from Titan Outdoor, a media company specialising in out of home advertising, where he held the position of Group Head of Sales and was responsible for overseeing client relationships on key accounts and driving new business.

Prior to his role at Titan Outdoor, Bassett held a senior position at Associated Northcliffe Digital as Head of Client Sales, Cross Media and Planning, where he launched cross-platform advertising campaigns across all of Associated's newspaper sites including The Daily Mail, Evening Standard and Metro.

eBay Advertising Expands Vertical Offering

Strategic partnership in property sector delivers new benefits to eBay users

eBay Advertising today announces it is to expand and diversify its property category, through a strategic partnership with PropertyIndex.com in the UK. The deal will deliver an increased selection of property listings to eBay users, whilst connecting the brand with the millions of purchase-minded consumers who visit eBay every day.

Under the terms of the deal with PropertyIndex.com, a leading property aggregator of UK and overseas real estate, more than 200,000 residential properties will be listed under eBay’s Classified Ads. As exclusive property aggregator in the Residential Property category, eBay Advertising will promote PropertyIndex.com with 25 million impressions of banner advertising.

eBay Advertising Announces Alex Marks as Head of Business Marketing

Industry heavyweight in the driving seat of eBay Advertising’s international B2B marketing

eBay Advertising today announces Alex Marks as Head of Business Marketing for eBay Advertising International, as the company prepares for continued growth in the year ahead.

Alex will be responsible for developing eBay Advertising’s marketing strategy across the UK and international markets to help boost awareness, amongst advertisers and media agencies, of the powerful opportunities eBay delivers to brand advertisers to reach engaged, purchase-minded consumers across the biggest collection of verticals on the web.

He brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having spent almost three years as Head of UK Marketing at Microsoft Advertising. He also has over 10 years experience on the agency and client side, including a Marketing Director role at i-level where he was responsible for developing the company’s marketing and new business strategy.

Alex will work in close collaboration with the eBay Advertising sales directors across the UK and international markets, to ensure continued development and effective communication of internal and external marketing strategies to maximise revenue opportunities for eBay.
