The concept was developed by BBH with media by Carat.  Onsite marketing has been led by Feed.  The Partners developed the visual identity for the clothing and Outlet pages on eBay.

eBay has been the number one clothing website in the UK for many years” said Alex von Schirmeister, VP Marketing for eBay in Europe.

“The campaign communicates an exciting new way buyers can get great deals on fashion, whilst also reaching out to shoppers passionate about brands and bargains who might not always consider eBay.”

“eBay.co.uk now has leading high street clothing names like House of Fraser, Kookai, Superdry and Office selling new branded items at up to 70% discount within the Fashion Outlet, mostly at fixed or ‘Buy it Now’ prices” said Von Schirmeister.

The marketing campaign is launched alongside a suite of onsite changes including a more intuitive visual browsing and search experience tailored specifically for the clothing category. eBay also threw open the doors to the Fashion Outlet with a media showcase at the Soho Hotel between 21st - 30th April.

eBay.co.uk is the number one ecommerce site and clothing destination in the UK with 17million visitors every month. Popularly known as an ‘auction site’ due to its heritage and most popular buying format for many years, almost 60% of listings on eBay globally are now at fixed prices.
